To say it was a challenge to build the first-ever Yukon News website would be to grossly underestimate the symbolic magnitude of the endeavor.
After more than a year of planning, design, development and testing, Aasman Interactive brought one of Canada’s highest ranked, heavily awarded and the territory’s most widely read newspaper to life online.
We built the interface and constructed the membership management, content publication and archive system for use by internal staff. The Yukon’s leading newspaper needed to be focused, uncluttered and extensible. We kept the design minimal and let the content speak for itself.
