Web Application Programming
A searchable database of more than 5,000 historical maps covering the area of what is now known as British Columbia, Historical Maps Society of BC helps researchers locate, uncover and submit their findings to a central repository.
In early 2005, HMSBC contacted Aasman Interactive to develop this web application from start to finish, including architecture, interface, user experience and records administration.
A simple navigation on the homepage and throughout the site allows visitors to get right down to business, bringing core search tools to the forefront.
